Yea go to Scuf gamings website to look at the options highly recommended for those of you about to play CAG competitive GB and a serious gamer only who are on alot . Not necessary to dish out $160+ for a controller casual play

Yea its MLG legal. Scuf just released there pro models making controllers for optic fear and envy you can buy online. Id just create my own. Here's some of there options

whats your definition of a modded controller though? i mean technically we all use modded controllers if we are using grip its because they arent on every controller out of the box ya know? my definition is rapid fire/dropshot/lag switch controllers everything else is tweaking to me. not trying to be a dick thats just my opinion.
A modded controller is when the software inside the controller is altered. For example i had one made by evil controllers. Its called a modded controller because they put a special chip that allows you to shoot semi auto guns fully auto. And had quick scooping and drop shotting with the press of a button. This is modded cause of the chip and therefore is not allowed.
Scufs on the other hand have extra buttons and adjustments but the internal chip hasnt been altered allowing you to have full auto etc. Just put custom buttons on the other side of it and adjusted triggers so its physically altered but each button does one specific function.
There's no secret activation code to turn mods on and off to stay hidden like my evil controller did.
