thoughts on your teams offseason thus far?

some know im a broncos fan some dont. patron does lol. id like to see how you feel about what your teams have done until now. our 2 key acquistions so far were rodgers-cromartie (didnt know til cheech told me lol) and welker. im glad we decided to try and do something with our secondary it was a huge let down in the post season. welker i didnt like at first our wideouts were fine and we are deep there. deeper than most. but now its arguably the best league wide thus far (monday march 18 706am est). im also so glad he went to denver because I HATE NEW ENGLAND for numerous reasons.. cocky fans that when they lose everyone else is hating... people are tired of seeing you constantly win get over it... brady wears mandals and the list goes on. i jokingly offered a buddy magic markers for his welker jersey on xbl. still no reply. pats fans are mad as fuck at us and i love it... haters? im sad to see dumervil go but thats his problem now. overall we are looking tough. we need a D end now a reliable RB would be nice but we still have the draft. i dont forsee us signing any more big names.. the draftees gotta get paid too.. so we will see what happens next. pretty stoked for next year are schedule strength is horrid so i anticapte another first round bye. the whole may not be battle tested come the post season is a thought but ehhh not sweatin it atm. peytons got plenty of time to get welker up to speed and is the ultimate preparer. what are your guys' teams and thoughts on their offseason thus far? also mention who got who i havent been paying much attention.

Shit, with the cap penalty that fucking John Mara coerced the NFL into imposing on the Redskins we only have 600k to spend on free agency right now.

Fuck Mara and the NFL, pieces of shit are fucking up the integrity of the game and they are purposely doing stupid shit to these great NFL Franchises like the Steelers, Skins, Cowboys and others.

Regardless, the Skins are in a good position even though they have not signed any big name free agents. I am actually glad they are not spending money on free agency for once and are determined to build the team through the draft. I have never been a fan of free agency because of the cap bullshit that the NFL has allowed.

The one team I see doing tons of signings is the Colts. They have a really good foundation right now and Luck really impressed me.

The Skins need to either draft some good 2ndary help or figure out a way to get someone in free agency. I hope they choose to wait for the draft though.

yeah thats rough. i hate the steelers though so. but why they would penalize washington makes no sense. free agency hasnt really worked for you guys lately. haynesworth and mcnabb were a giant waste of money for instance. you guys should go the draft route you cant make any blockbuster signings with less than 1 million for everyone that sucks. cincy could be dangerous i dont know what they have done but they had 40 million and made the playoffs last year.

Its gonna be a couple years before my RAIDERS to get back to being a top tanking team. This year we released a lot of players so I don't really know what they have planned. But as long as we beat the Pony's LOL .. I mean broncos. Then it's a good season for me. :beer:

They stole 56 million in cap from the skins, 28 last year and 28 this year, total bs. On top of that the players they had to cut and restructure their contracts to get under the cap is a fucking joke.

The Haynesworth and McNapps signings did nothing to our cap, they converted Hayneworth's $21 million option bonus which was the only guaranteed money of the 7 year $100 contract in a signing bonus which they spread out through 7 years, which was only a $3 million cap hit which started in 2009.

Then DeAngelo Hall's option bonus of $15 million was also converted into a signing bonus but spread out.

What the Skins and Dallas did was take advantage of the uncapped year and they dumped those huge bonuses that year, something that they were allowed to do, only when Mara of the Giants cried to the NFL did they penalize the Cowboys , Redskins, Raiders, Vikes and one other team which I don't remember who it was.

What is fucked up is that they only imposed the penalties on the Cowboys and Skins, 2 teams that are in the same division as the fucking Giants. What does that tell you?
