Thoughts on the next gen consoles?

I've been hearing alot about the upcoming systems, Some can't wait for them to be released and others are pissed. Personally as of right now I'd only get the next gen Xbox for CAG purposes. Might get more involved pc at this point. Perosnal thoughts anybody?

My personal thoughts most people will not buy them straight off the bat they are gonna be like £400, I'm happy with the Xbox 360 and the PS3 as it is right now but if they keep the same network so that Xbox 360 players can talk with 720 players and so on It will be cool I think.

But for me personally I'm gonna upgrade my PC a little more and get back into PC gaming these consoles may be well so called High-Tech but they are like low end PC's really. I am not going to buy one in-till I see if they are half good.

I hope they don't make it so you can not play used games on another console, there's been alot of debate on that and it sounds to me like a shot in the financial foot

I heard something about that, that you can't play used games anymore on these new consoles, I'm one of those people that buys a whole lot of used games because I really can't afford band new ones when they come out so I wait but if it turns out that I'm done with Xbox.

I heard they are going into this cloud gaming direction too it sucks

Microsoft are getting to money hungry!

I'm the same way and if I'm bored or something I go out and buy a cheap used game for the hell of it : P but There's news that Steam is going to be creating it's own gaming system I'm excited to see what they do with it

I really doubt I am going to buy any of the new systems when they come out.

When the 360 and PS3 were announced, they sold us everything and anything. They said how next gen consoles were going to revolutionize the gaming industry, yet I only saw them taking step backwards every year since.

With the power of the 360 and PS3 and game engines, wtf aren't buildings completely destructible in every fucking game? Why can't a fucking grenade completely tear up the fuck out of a building like in real life. Wtf can't a fucking RPG make a whole in the wall on COD and GRFS games like they do on BF3.

These assholes have gotten lazy and are only giving us a fraction of what is possible and telling us this is the new tech.

I am fine with 360 and ps3 right now and until they show me something that fucking makes me squirt like a pornstar, I will stick with what I have now.

Yea I miss the destruction from bad company 2 nothing quite the same as blowing up blocks of houses. It seems now a days all these companies worry about is the revenue, not living up to the real expectations of "next gen"
