Well happy new year Call of Duty fans; it’s looking like January might be an even harder slog for fans of the franchise as some new leaked images have revealed that the first DLC Map pack for the latest COD game will be hitting Xbox 360 consoles on January 29th.
A leak has sprung via MP1st who have revealed the “Revolution” DLC as being the first piece of downloadable content for COD:BO2. The new maps and content have been leaked via some promotional material that has hit the internet, showcasing the full extent of the massive Revolution DLC.
Black Ops fans will be getting a whopping four new multiplayer maps, one new zombie map and one new weapon in the DLC which makes for a massive addition to the gameplay of Black Ops 2.
The pack includes the following maps and weapon:

• Multiplayer Map – Hydro
• Multiplayer Map – Downhill
• Multiplayer Map – Grind
• Multiplayer Map – Mirage
• Zombie Map – Die Rise
• Exclusive Weapon – Peacekeeper SMG

The pack will (as per usual) land on Xbox 360 consoles first with a likely one month delay between then and the PS3 release (no news on Wii U). Xbox 360 owners will be looking to pay 1200 MS Points (which is standard pricing for a map pack) which comes in at just over £10.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has been out for a bit now, and if you’re the type that plays a fair bit, then you might have already prestiged a few times, and grown bored with the game already. Or maybe you’re just looking for the next set of maps to master. Well it looks like you won’t have to wait too long.


The above poster depicts the first batch of DLC for the game, which appears to include 5 new maps (new to this game, at least) and a brand new “Peacekeeper” SMG. The maps are dubbed Hydro, Grind, Downhill, Mirage, and Die Rise. The last one clearly depicts a pair of zombies, so it’s safe to bet that this is indeed a zombie map.


The map pack is said to be dropping on January 29th on Xbox 360 (PC and PS3 will likely be a month later). There is no word on pricing, though we expect it to be around the $15 mark, with Season Pass holders picking it up for free.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's first round of multiplayer DLC will bring five new maps and a new weapon, according to a promotional poster spotted on Reddit (via PC Gamer). Revolution will strike Xbox Live first (as usual) on January 29, presumably as part of the $50 season pass or a la carte.

Revolution's four new competitive multiplayer maps are named Hydro, Grind, Mirage, and Downhill. Judging by their little promotional thumbnails, they all involve tenderly cradling firearms and sometimes jumping over things. The pack is rounded out by Die Rise, a new Zombies battleground, and access to the Peacekeeper SMG.
