Dayz?

A online friend was telling me of this zombie PC game called Dayz, said its supposed to be awesome. One person said his friend was playing it but when I went to what I thought was the official site it said it was under development. My PC gaming is Diablo 2 and 3 and a little WoW... Anyone have any info on this game?

There is Dayz and Warz. Dayz You need to have ARMA 1 and 2 to play. Warz is an individual game still in development.

showing none gave good info. day z is a free mod for arma 2. EVERYONE plays it... i myself have not gotten into the loop yet tho haha. all my buddies play the shit out of it though.

When i'm not playing xbox i play diablo3. likethegun#1970 is my battletag. hit me up on there. I am fairly successful in the D3 game.

well i had boughten a 900 dollar tower just to play it and then i hit a brick wall tryin to successfully farm inferno so i got rid of it.

ive heard some pretty gruesome and awesome things about Dayz, yes its part of the arma series but apparently they're working to get its own stand alone game for the pc as well, which hopefully will come out soon. from what i've heard about it, its a free roam environment, you start on the coast with limited previsions. you have to find EVERYTHING, from guns, to ammo, to gear, to items to fix things like cars, to food and water. not only do you have to worry about zombies, but you have to worry about other players as well cause they can kill you and take everything you have and you start over on the coast with nothing. from what ive been told about it, its best to play with a friend for that main reason to not get screwed over by people.
