So who has your vote for NFL MVP this year? I think the candidates are Adrian Peterson, Tom Brady and the clear cut choice Peyton Manning. Now I'm gonna take the time to break down why he's gonna win it.
Let's start with AP. Great season, No way around it. He's probably gonna break Dickerson's single season record. He's averaging more yards per rush than Ponder is per pass attempt and this is all coming off of major knee surgery. Insane. However, Minnesota is irrelevant this year. Somehow they are in one of the tougher divisions in the NFL. I don't think they will make the post season and if they do they will lose in the wild card. Sorry but AP can't save that team. By the time they get the right personel around Ponder, Jared Allen and AP will most likely be gone.
On to Brady. Great QB, another great year. Surprise Surprise. But he doesn't qualify because the year he went down in week 1, some random dude stepped in and won 11 games for them. It's not all Brady folks, its the coaches and the system. I could win games in New England. And with that I'm done because I don't wanna give that dude more press that he doesn't deserve.
So, Peyton... Why you might ask? Cause I'm a Broncos fan? Eh, maybe a little. No it's mostly because he has made an otherwise forgotten about team one of the top 5 powerhouse's in the NFL. However, we had all the pieces in place to begin with. The crafty veteran RB, two young and talented Wideouts, one of the most solid lines, and younger O Lines in the NFL. A beautiful D Line anchored by Elvis Dumervil and don't forget about the big bad Wolfe. One of the most dynamic LB core's and the OG Shutdown Cornerback Champ Bailey ( Thank you Joe Gibbs for your relentless pursuit of something easily attained, a RB ). They are averaging over 30 points and game the Von is dropping QB's like a bad habit.
And that's why Peyton is the only logical choice for MVP. Good luck Baltimore, your gonna need it. I don't think Suggs can save you either.
