I myself am a huge fan of music. It's one of the few things powerful enough to alter my state of mind.

So I thought perhaps we could share in our taste's, like's and dislike's and general things of that nature.

I am quite a fan of metal ( Black/Doom/Stoner/Thrash/Death ). Some of my fav's would have to be 80's MetallicA, Megadeth, Slayer, Type O Negative, Dimmu Borgir, HiM ( ever see Bam Margera's ribs? yeah thats on my arm ), As I Lay Dying, Black Dahlia Murder, Underoath, Danzig, Cradle of Filth, cKy, Cannibal Corpse ( saw them at a local club ) and the Bad Luck 13 Riot Extravaganza ( I think that's a PA thing, go youtube them live, I was at one of those chaotic shows. They played 1 and 1/2 before half of WB's police force arrived and buddy was 2 inches away from a flaming 2x4 to the face )

Also a huge hip-hop fanatic. I like things like Nas, B.I.G., Pac, Ricky Rozay, Wale, 2 Chainz (lol), Drake, SOME Wayne ( I prefer his Freestyling ), Snoop and Dre, older Gucci Mane, a little Eazy-E and some NWA while I'm at it, things DJ Khaled works on and the entire Wu Tang Clan ( I have a sideways W on my neck so it looks like an E and its says East Coast instead of Wu Tang )

I'm sure I left out a ton of shit, there isn't much I don't like. Also a huge Johnny Cash fan, but what american isn't?

On point my man! I'm a fan of literally just about anything if its artistic and not completely fucking stupid (like soulja boy type stupid wit repetitive nothingness).

But our tastes are almost identical. Not so much the fan of the death metal stuff unless the vocals don't hurt my ears with annoying squeals or monotone growls.

Are you fucking kidding me Diamond? Look at all the great bands that rocked the shit out of everyone not just in rock but in hip hop, rap, country.

No other era in the history of music has done that. When you went clubbing in the 80s and to parties you were able to party with any type of music and everyone understood it all.

You had band like Quiet Riot, Mega Death, Alice Cooper , Iron Maiden, Rush, Poison, Bon Jovi, G n R, Motley Crue, Cinderella, Antrax, Public Enemy, I can go on and on.

All those 80s bands were music they all still used real instruments to make music. There were only a handful of bands that did not use instruments themselves and Rap groups like Easy E and NWA also used real instruments.

Today every fucking rapper or rap group use a fucking computer program to make music. Really? The mid 90s really fucked up the music industry and now bands are just a complete fucking joke using someone else's music as their own.

The 80s was a great decade for music man come on! lol


I personally like Metal, like Iron Maiden and Motley Cru shit. I also love my Led Zep and Pink Floyd and yes the Doors. All classic rock kicks ass. Country is also music I listen to, after high school I went to tons of concerts from Alice Cooper to ZZ top, name the band I am sure I went to see them.

Only band I haven't gotten to see is AC/DC ,, every time I get the chance to go see them something pops up.

I have seen Marilyn Manson about 10 times, GnRs another 10 times, Metallica 7, Rage Against the Machine 4 times, Pantera 13 times, Motley Crue 8 times or so.

I have also seen bands like No Doubt, Bush, Green Day, Offspring, Alice in Chains, NIN...shit I been around the fucking block with bands.
