More issues found in the PS3 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has seen players getting unjust probation notices, even once the host has migrated. Reports suggest the recent update has not addressed all the multiplayer problems within the game, as many players have been receiving notices after host migrations.
The idea of the notices is to stem the amount of times gamers quit, although there have been many players, which only give up every now and again, and they have been given probation notices.
Highlighting this news, Gameranx mentions a Reddit user known as RobotsHaveFeelingsTo and how this person has received warnings after being kicked out of a match, ending up on probation each time. It seems that they are being told that quitting causes this, so this amounts to both host migration and players having to wait for the timer to go down.
Questions have been asked whether this is a glitch on Treyarch’s part, alternatively, people may not be honest with how often they quit. On a lighter note, Trusted Reviews reports on Black Ops 2 keep the top spot at the summit of the UK Gaming Chart for four weeks running giving us cause to wonder if it will remain there during the Christmas period. This Call of Duty title is now in the same bracket as FIFA 12 and 13, which both spent four weeks at the top, so if Black Ops 2 holds the spot for another week it will equal the five that LEGO Batman spent earlier in the year.
Taking into account the game has seen a 15 percent drop in sales, Black Ops 2 is still ahead of Far Cry 3, although sales of FIFA 13 are up 18 percent, fixed at the number three spot. In other Black Ops 2 news, last week we spoke about an update that re-enables features such as Theatre, tweak UAV and SMG settings. We also mentioned a trouble-shooting guide released by Activision, which is ideal to help reduce multiplayer lag. Going back to the original source, have you encountered problems with unjust probation notices?
