Greetings from the Crossroads of America. I'm James, I'm 28 (old i know), I live in the Indianapolis Metropolitan area, and work full time in law enforcement. I own a small tech business on the side that affords me the opportunity to mess with technology. I love all things tech and I love gaming.

However I will admit I'm mostly a PC guy (please dont hate me! ha!) and have been since i was 12. Last console I owned was a Sega system with the Sega CD add on. However this past Black Friday, Game Stop ran a kick butt deal on an xbox bundle so I took the bait and got one. I am really new to FPS, however I did play BF3 on the PC and really enjoyed it. Definitely the controls on the xbox are different and not struggling to adjust.

Working in law enforcement my work rotation changes constantly, however I will be as active as I possibly can, but when making the choice between maintaining a place to live, and gaming, I'm obviously going to choose a place to live ha!

I'm hoping to be accepted into the group and be mentored by folks who are much better at FPS and can assist this N00b into becoming a killing machine in FPS. I've mostly played RPG's or Single Player type games like Need For Speed Most Wanted, Assassians Creed 3, Final Fantasy 13-2 (all on xbox), Command and Conquer Series, Red Alert Series, Sim City, Flight Sim, Age of Empires, Civilization 5 (all on PC).

So ya. I'm a pretty open book, no-nonsense, straight to the point, don't bs around kinda guy who is wanting to get better at FPS. Look forward to meeting and chatting with you guys soon!

Welcome FPC You will need to fill out anofficial application and then you will be ready to begin your recruitment process. Make sure you check back in this thread for further instructions.

For now you need to add the following members to your friends list. If you receive a game invite make sure you accept. If you fail to accept more than 3 game invites you will be automatically disqualified.

Recruitment for BF3 and MW3 is on hold for now. You can still apply to join CAG but getting a tryout on these two games will take some time.

The recruitment process will take 2 weeks before one of the Officers gives you further instructions. During the 2 week probation make sure you are active not only on xbox live but also here on the forums. During games make sure you pay attention, follow orders and you communicate. Good Luck !!!

Welcome bruddah! What do you do in law enforcement? I was a sgt in the marine corps and now workin somewhat in law enforcement just on the communications/dispatch side of it while I finish my bachelors degree. Wifey wants me to go to the academy when I have my degree, but still deciding...

Anyway, i'm sure my schedule is a lot similar to yours. We rotate every 2 months. Right now i'm on graveyards.

Most of mine will be between 10am - Noon EST GMT-5 or 1030-Midnight EST GMT-5 (for now, we are set to change rotations again on Jan 7th )

I work in the communications center as a senior Fire/EMS Communications Officer as well as CTO, Quality Assurance Agent, and all around go to person for when our CAD has an issue and IT doesn't feel like fixing it. However, I am hoping to have a change of career here soon and I'll be working in the tech field where my heart and passion lay.

very nice! Our jobs sound similiar although I have only been working the fire/ems/law communications for about 2 years. What CAD does your center use? We use spillman.

We have to use two CADs at the moment because we just went through a consolidation and merger process with our other two centers in the area. We currently use New World Systems and Sunguard OSSI. (Personally both of them stink, however they both have good parts that I wish I could gut and create a new CAD with.)

But great intro fbcballer , like I said on your application, good to see more older gamers coming around. You should have no problem here with your schedule, we understand people have families, jobs, lives outside of gaming that is why I think CAG is a great Clan to be a part of.

I myself have a 12 year old Son who is also in the clan, CAG StewieShotU and I work in web design so I am pretty busy at times myself. But I have put together a very good leadership staff here for CAG and they are making sure things run smoothly.

Glad to see the clan has been around for a while. Hard to find good established clans.

Yes, I been doing web design for 5 years now. I built our website here and have worked on several other sites for other clans in the past. I am also into web security and doing maintenance for people's sites.
