By now you should have noticed a new field when viewing our Member Ranks section called "BILLET". A billet is your position and weapons designation within your Unit. A Team Leader is a billet with his weapon of choice depending on the Faction (Division) they are a part of. For example, the billets of a fireteam include a fireteam leader (M16 or weapon of choice), a rifleman (M16 or weapon of choice), an automatic rifleman (M249 or weapon of choice), and an assistant automatic rifleman (M16 or weapon of choice) with some fireteams using a sniper and spotter with their weapon of choice as well.
Billet will be designated to each Member once they complete their recruitment stage. During the recruitment stage, recruits will be allowed to use any weapon they choose. Upon completion of the recruitment stage, Team Leaders will assign each Member a Billet. Members will then have to decide if the billet assigned to them by their Team Leader is something they feel comfortable with, or ask to try out for a different billet. If a Member declines the billet his Team Leader assigns him or her, they must go through another month as a recruit until they find or receive their billet of choice.
Each Member will be given the opportunity to play under the billet of their choice. If their Team Leader deems it necessary to change their billet for the best interest of his Team, he will then assign the recruit with the billet the Team Leader believes he is better suited for.
Billets will not be final. Once a recruit gets promoted to Private, he can ask his Team Leader to consider him or her for a different billet. It will be up to their Team Leader to grant them such request.
