Sorta new to Battlefield 3

Yo dudes just got Battlefield today along with back to karkand expansion, my roomate had it last year out at school so im not a total noob to this game. Hit me up on xbox live to get gaming with u guys. Also need a little info on the option of downloading the HD option on the title screen for 1.5 GB, just wondering if its worth me going out and purchasing an internal hard drive for a hundred bucks just for some more HD gaming expansion when im already gaming on 47inch 1080p with HDMI cables?

yea probably will end up doing that quick question though do u kno if i need the newest multiplayer update to access everything back to karkand has given me cause i cant find any of the weapons and it doesnt show me any of the maps from the back to karkand dlc
