Hey man just some advice: get yourself a HD game recorder (like a HD PVR or one of Avermedia's) and upload some 720p videos and then I'll subscribe. I have some videos on my Youtube page at youtube.com/cliffgoat that are 1080p because I use a very high end video capturecard (Live Gamer HD C985). Good luck!

I got my Hauppauge PVR from best buy for 188 plus tax. That is what I recorded my videos of GRFS that I have on the youtube channel.

Here is one of the videos I recorded of GRFS a few weeks ago.

    What Cheech said.

In addition, I own the HD PVR Colossus PCI capture card, but I primarily use Avermedia's Live Gamer HD which retails for $220. It allows for web streaming and records up to 1080p/30FPS, which is the highest quality video you'll find on Youtube. At the moment, the highest quality any other brand of capture card on the market can do is 1080i.

The Hauppauge also allows for streaming and the difference between 1080i and 1080p is not much. You can't go wrong with either but you do need a laptop or cpu with a strong enough processor to render the video preferably one that is 2.50 GHz or higher, anything less and your laptop or cpu are going to struggle to render and end up heating up and shutting down on you halfways or less into the rendering of the video.

Unless you want to risk having a very shitty looking Youtube video, always do 720p or 1080p, whichever is the highest resolution you can record. Do not upload videos like this:

Some 1080i videos look borderline decent when viewed at 1080p, but if you're going for quality, always do a progressive HD resolution. Nothing wrong with staying at 720p as it looks fantastic as well.
