All seriousness here..Something I had to put up on a forum from the Colorado incident

For everyone that says they need to shut the gun shops down in America that are for other countries...Here is a little knowledge for you that you need to know about...They have an extensive background check on anyone who purchases a firearm...If anything comes back wrong guess what you don't get the firearm...The people who are doing things like this are more than likely buying a firearm off a person through a "Firearm bill of sale", this is when someone is trying to sell a gun and a person buys it from a person who does not have an FFL (Federal Firearms License) this is a person to person transition. So don't blame the people who are responsible and legally have a firearm...Look up the laws before blurting out stupid ass responses that I have read from some of these people...The responsible people who go through this the right way are the ones that can help save lives when it comes down to scenarios to people who do stupid acts like the one in Colorado...My thoughts go out to the friends and family of the ones who lost their lives that night...Remember don't blame everyone who has a gun just makes you look stupid

What happened in Colorado is making the legal gun owners that take responsibility and practice safety with their firearms are at a risk now. This is completely retarded for the fact that you are taking guns away from people that can prevent things like this from happening...If just one person had a gun on them in Colorado, that person could have saved many lives. Its just a tragedy what happened but people need to have some sort of common sense when it comes to gun laws...

These new guns laws are causing more harm than good. Like Fly said, if someone in that theater had a permit for a concealed weapon this "could" of been prevented. They need to allow us to carry sidearms if we prove and pass a background check. So many shootings of the past have happened because of these bullshit gun laws.

What will happen if out of no where our community is attacked by terrorists who have been stocking up on serious firepower and we can't fight back because we are not allowed to own assault rifles. I have a serious problem with us here in California not being able to own an assault rifle if it has a magazine that carries more than 10 rounds.
