Hey all, do you guys repeatedly tap the X button when the opponent is near or do you try to use one well-timed press of the button? I have been tapping X like a madman and wanted to be sure that I am using the correct technique.

I just press it really, sometimes its so quick that I probably just tap it and it grabs them..I will have to pay more attention to it when I get back on.
That's how I am, if I happen to be next to someone and I can shank their asses I will, but other than that I don't look for the melee attack
As a scout it's awesome to have augmented camo and a taser all you need to do is sneak around, tase the target, data hack em, then shank em.Repeat this over and over it really helps the team and you get thousands of XP.So answering the original question I only hit the button once.
When I get there I need to know what is the hack ? i have no idea .
Stormy you have to tase them first with your taser gun , then you press the x button and you hack them
That damn melee attack has me all fucked up man, sometimes it works like a charm and sometimes it just sucks!
