New Medal Ideas?

So after some time thinking about it, what about medals for the campaign, such as finding all collectables and completing said game on each difficulty.
This actually came to mind while I was on Lost Planet: Extreme Condition trying out the extreme difficulty and thought "What about medals for the solo guys"?
To me this would be a way to get the guys better at said game by putting them through pure hell on each difficulty while also getting rewarded at the end.
Just a thought :)
