Picking An Xbox Controller And Headset... Help Needed

I want to be prepared for when battlefield and cod come out so I won't have a headset or controller fail on me repeatedly so I'm going to spend some money on some decent stuff. I'm looking to see if there is a controller worth getting besides the stock controller. Is there anything better out there or is the stock controller pretty much the only and best choice? I use Elite controller and Turtle Beach x800 headset

And the Turtle Beach 800 are well worth it

I have the 420x. They have great sound. Multiple modes for different bass levels and such. Pretty good battery life and I use them as regular headphones as well. Worth the pick up in my opinion

Heck yes that makes me feel better. I have the Xbox one army headset but it broke on both sides so I have them taped together lol.

Personally I am a turtle beach guy. That said I've owned the Astros A50's and sold them immediately. IT all comes down to what you're looking for in a headset. I want to hear the little sounds like foot steps. The A50's have the best sound quality but I can hear foot steps and lighter noises with turtle beaches. Hope this helps a little
