If you notice you are walking weird once it has healed, like a slight limp or your foot just not feeling "normal" when moving, I would highly suggest to find a pool and go swimming. It is the best physiotherapy there is. The reason is that there is always resistance against your body as you are in the water.
When I broke my leg I was going to physio and after 3 weeks had very little improvement, I asked if I could go swimming as my family at the time owned a house with a pool. I swam everyday after school for a few hours and next time I saw my trainer she said there wasn't much she could offer me as I was basically back to regular form.
