I need to know after how many days you guys are ok for the old private messages to be deleted ...
I tried it with Jadzia's account , Stewies and my Test dummies account ...and it looks like it worked ..
I am thinking maybe 3 days old after you guys have read your pms? or after 1 day ?
Please let me know ASAP so we can get this started to see if it works right away ...

Ok , so everyone's private messages will be deleted after 3 days at 12 pm (noon) every day
This is a cron job, so it will run every day at 12 pm (noon) to check for any messages that are older than 3 days, if they are and they are read they "will" be deleted !
Only read messages will be deleted ...
So if you want to keep any messages I suggest you download them to your cpu or laptop..there are about 4 different types of downloads you can do for your messages, as XML, CSV and Text file ...
This is not an option you guys ...private messages "will" be deleted if this feature works as planned ! ...lol...

So I stay up all day yesterday working on this and most of this morning and not one single person has anything to say about this except for Blame .....after I see people left and right complaining about private messages getting fucking cluttered up?
Today at 12 pm pacific everyone's private message folders should be emptied automatically ...
If you want to keep your pms, you will have to save them to your computer or laptop .... this is not an option ....
If the new feature works it will do this every day at 12 pm pacific time and delete pms that are older than 3 days from all your folders ....

Even saving them to a folder will delete them I think ... so make sure you download them to your laptop, it has 3 different options for that ..Quote:

This allows users to delete original pm after reply is sent ...

So the above little feature will delete your original message when you send it out so that you don't have to have a full folder of sent messages right off the bat ..this is an option and you just have to check it off if you want messages to be deleted right away ...
