Ghosts, If your console (Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3) is connected to the Internet when you launch Ghost Recon: Future Soldier for the first time, a message will pop up to inform you that a game update is available for you to download and install. This day-one update was designed to optimize your experience with Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. The update incorporates all of the gameplay improvements that we were able to implement during the Beta thanks to your real-time feedback, as well as some new improvements we’ve worked on since the end of the Beta.

Main changes:

• - Introduced 6-man party system in the multiplayer game mode;
• - Balanced several weapons (assault rifles, SMSGs, handguns, shotguns);
• - Balanced equipment (grenades, flash bang, EMP, stun guns, number of drones in match);
• - Adjusted aim sensitivity and quick scope;
• - Fixed maps exploits;
• - Adjusted melee;
• - Adjusted XP values;
• - Several technical / network improvements;

a beautiful thing

The update did fix quite a few things, the movement is now a bit more fluid, hit detection is dead on I love it and the graphics are much better than the beat too.

I hope they don't change to much in future updates, this game is playing almost perfect out of the box and with this update.

It seems legit to me, I mean the tom clancy games never really waiver from the first product they put out

Yeah I agree and after playing the game most of the day yesterday I am so in love with this game dude. Playing Seige the way we have and with the guys we have been recruiting is just awesome, there is tons of communication and everything is done in sync.

I hope they don't change anything, maybe the grenades power should be raised , I mean if you get hit with a grenade you should die instantly not get throw to the ground and you get back up. That is the only thing I would change, oh and the damn sensors, you should have to earn them or something.

Hahaha of course cheech is complaining about the grenade strength when he sits there with his ammo box and throws about 15 of them a match lol

Fuck yeah motherfuckers! I am the grenade king in GRFS, they seriously need to fix the damage of grenades though, they are too damn weak

Haven't played with you guys yet but I was in a match earlier today and everyone had headsets for the first time. If being in a clan is anything like that then I'm staying put. Hope to play with you guys tomorrow some time.

First time I played this game it reminded me how great tactical games can be. (Socom for example)
It has a lot of great things but some negative elements reduce my fun with the game... For example when the host Quits the entire game restarts, losing all your progress :( I think it's a shame that you can be seen by enemies too, sure it's in the future but it kinda destroys the sneaky parts and the tactical part of the game too.

Weapons and the feel are great, hit detection could be a lot better.. I've been killed a lot when the bullets didn't even come close to me, same with grenades sometimes they don't do any damage at all, and then suddenly you get killed with full health when the grenade explodes around a corner miles away from you. :black_eyed:

If I would have to review it I would give a 7 for single player and 8 for online.

A lot was changed from the beta because of all the kids who cried about the game.

The hit detection in the game now compared to the beta is quite different, in the beta hit detection was dead on, the grenades would also kill you not just blow you back and automatically make you jump straight up only to get killed by a single shot.

I think the kill cam is garbage though, it catches everything laggy and out of sync compared to the game's action that is why we see a lot times that we might not be getting hit when we die.

The only thing I have a problem , a big problem is the servers, there was no reason for having this type of game on next gen console on p2p servers instead of dedicated servers. Cloud servers or p2p servers were only good for old gen , xbox and ps2 consoles not for the games of today.

Tracking all these stats that people want also hurts not just GRFS but MW3, BF3 and any other game that is out there. You have to sync every fucking stat, every fucking weapon, every fucking leader board and these fucking idiots don't hire anyone who knows now to do the job right. They are hosting the games on 10 year old servers that they don't even upgrade or update and they are pocketing all the money we spend for themselves.

I love GRFS, but I "will not" buy the DLC next month when it comes out until they fix this server issue. Updates? Yeah right, all they are doing is shutting the servers down to make it look like they are doing maintenance.

I really do hate the servers, if it wasn't for the horrible servers I would be getting no sleep and playing this game 24 a day
