In any job the fighting rules is pretty clear...termination. If someone threatens, harasses, or strikes you you have to go to a superior and report it without retribution and you will not be terminated but they will. I was in a similar situation a long time ago and this guy struck me in the cheek with a part. He had five years on me in the company and after deliberation was terminated. I restrained myself and reported it to the Union Stuart. The most difficult part is not fighting back but if you want to keep your job you must show restraint. I feel for you man but learn from this and you'll be back on your feet in no time.
