HELLSING!

okay sooo i just got done watching the 7 episodes of Hellsing Ultimate.....i need 8....this is like murder lol i know they've released like one or two per year.....but seriously 8 should be so badass....his power restraint removed, and you get to see him at his full strength.....OMG! and for those of you that dont know what hellsing is, its an anime and this is its plot:

Hellsing is named after and centered around the Holy Order of Protestant Knights, originally led by Abraham Van Helsing. The mission of Hellsing is to protect Queen and Country from the undead and other supernatural forces of evil. This organization is currently led by Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing, who inherited the leadership of Hellsing as a child after the death of her father. She is protected by the faithful Hellsing family butler and former Hellsing "trashman," Walter C. Dornez, and Alucard, the original and most powerful vampire that swore loyalty to the Hellsing family after being defeated by Van Helsing one hundred years before the story takes place. These formidable guardians are joined early on in the storyline by former police officer Seras Victoria, whom Alucard turned into a vampire.

As the scale and frequency of incidents involving the undead escalate in England and all around the world, Sir Integra discovers that the remnants of a Nazi group called Millennium still exist and are intent on reviving the Third Reich by creating a battalion of vampires. Millennium, Hellsing, and the Vatican section XIII Iscariot clash in an apocalyptic three-sided war in London, and Millennium reveals its true objective: to destroy the vampire Alucard, ending a feud begun during World War II

now the series Hellsing Ultimate is an OVA (original video animation). the difference between the original anime and the OVA is that the OVA follows closer to the manga or comic than the original anime does, and i have to say....im liking the OVA better, though the original series is still prety badass, i'd advise anyone who likes anime to start watching it, and start with the regular anime first since the OVA series is not finished yet

Sounds like a great series, wing. I'm not a big anime fan, but i don't mind checking it out. I go conventions for comics, anime, and tech when ever I can. I believe that I saw Hellsing at the last one that I went to. (Wondercon S.F)

but uh yeah, GREAT anime! my friend had the box set of all the episodes...i spent many a hour locked on to the tv screen in awe lol

OMG SWEET! lol iwas hoping i wasn't he only one here that was into this sorta stuff lol. im a huge anime/comic junkie, many of my summers have been wasted on both lolz. but hellsing by far is like....you need to watch when u start lol and Hellsing Ultimate took it to the next level by following closer to the manga. and if you havn't seen hellsing before, heres a youtube AMV (anime music video) for it.
