I joined the other day however I notice my name has changed back to white?

I wouldn't think it should be white. You joined two days ago, should be purple (recruit) for two weeks while you're working on your Marksman. But I'm a newbie, so I could be wrong.

An admin would need to fix this on the back end of the site.
