Did you send it out already? If you haven't, I know a guy who fixes them for $50 ...you probably only need the lens replaced ...I got mine fixed and works like new!
Let me know if you haven't sent it in, if you want you can send it to me, I will have it done in 45 mins after I receive it and then I can send it back to you .....I live in California so I can do this for anyone in the States ...

Yeah Cheech thats about right. I had that issue too and I just ended up buying a new one cause its not worth the like 1 month warranty they give you

My mom is a store Manager at Rent- A- Center she is gonna send it to her service people
