XBOX One Headset Upgrade

Hey. I'm looking for ideas for upgrading my headset for the XBOX one.

I currently have a cheap set of TB x12, basic stereo headset. Looking to move up to 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound.

The turtle beach website can be confusing as hell and it's giving me a headache so i wanted to ask CAG.

i don't care if it's wired or wireless. Probably go with wired since i don't have to worry about charging.

Anyone have any experience with the earforce DSS? it's supposed to turn a basic headset into a surround sound headset.

Any advice would be helpful.

Personally...I am waiting for the Tritton warheads 7.1 for the One. They will rock.

They will cost more than turtle beaches tho as they are superior IMHO.

I currently use Tritton Ax Pros and they're better than astro A50s. The astro headsets really aren't all that...I fear they may have built their reputation off the back of their MLG affiliation.

That said....MLG are using TB now.

I have A50s n love em great investment lol. XP7 from turtle beach are prolly the best though

naw i got ya i just needed the best wireless headset out there so that was really my only option

go wired, and go with what your heart desires!

I use sony headsets so I may not

i actually have a TB DSS system with all the wires and i don't use it. paid i like 80 i can sell it to ya for 25-30? i would just give it to ya but its practically brand new, used it for 2-4 days, so i'd like to get a little something back on it.

I have been TB for years w no issues up until this headset adaptet fiasco w the XO. So if it were me I would get the XO headset from TB. But definitely wireless.

I have A50's and I gotta say I love them. But when it comes to headsets there are so many good ones out there now that my suggestion would be YouTube the reviews and consider the amount of $ your willing to dish out. In my honest opinion even though I have Astros, they are way over priced you can buy something half the price but just as good if you consider other brands at the end it all comes up to your own personal preference.

The skullcandy SLYR, PLYR series are fantastic
