Earn 5 awards in Sniper (my assumption is that 1 award means 1 Rifleman award, or at least 7 kills, awarded once per round)

I gleaned that information from previous award threads. The award text itself is unclear. So, to summarize, the Combat Infantry Badge requires the following:
10 separate rounds with 7 or more kills with any Assault rifle (tracked in its own thread - C.I.B. Assault)
10 separate rounds with 7 or more kills with any Carbine rifle (tracked in its own thread - C.I.B. Carbine)
10 separate rounds with 7 or more kills with any Shotgun (tracked in its own thread - C.I.B. Shotgun)
10 separate rounds with 7 or more kills with any LMG (tracked in its own thread - C.I.B. LMG)
10 separate rounds with 7 or more kills with any PDW rifle (tracked in its own thread - C.I.B. PDW)
10 separate rounds with 7 or more kills with any Pistol (tracked in its own thread - C.I.B. Pistol)
10 separate rounds with 7 or more kills with any Sniper rifle (tracked in its own thread - C.I.B. Sniper)
All rounds used require a fellow CAG member and a battlelog link.
And this thread ... is my C.I.B. Sniper thread.

Good job Kuj!
I will probably do this one last...completely different style of game...do you do true recon or run and gun?

Kind of depends on the map ... I don't mind sitting way off and doing bullet drop estimations, picking off people ... but I like to be more in-your-face. I get too bored otherwise. I have a sniper round that I'll add here soon where I went 25-4 (?) on Flood Zone sitting right near the middle flag. On Rogue Transmission, I'll sit on the hill behind the middle flag (attack chopper spawn) which usually attracts a lot of infantry attention.
Sniping is obviously not my favorite thing though. I have a difficult time justifying my efforts as beneficial to the team. Not to say sniping isn't helpful, just that I don't know how to quantify it. I'd much rather be taking objectives and killing vehicles.
Yup...I hear that dude.
